Jennie-O Turkey Store – Sterling Breeder Operator B – Barron, WI

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform daily farm activities and chores associated with caring for breeder turkeys, hatching eggs, and using farm equipment as outlined and described in the department operating manuals
2. Help employees with safety, productivity, and cost control by providing personal involvement in farm management and operating decisions and problem solving
3. Ability to work some holidays

Minimum Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays
• 9th grade math level, reading and writing skills
• PHYSICAL: Ability to lift up to 70 pounds from the floor to your waist on occasion
• Able to wear eye and respiratory protection equipment continually

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with good record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of farm experience
