To strengthen our team in Izmir, Turkey we are looking for:

Key Account Manager

(Izmir, Turkey)

Successful candidate for this key function will be directly reporting to Senior Sales Manager in Strategic Accounts, Sales function.

Your Mission

  • Define the long-term strategy for the assigned channel; ensure its implementation throughout the Puratos organization and deliver expected business results for assigned channel (Sales, and GM %)
  • Support to develop profitable sales and create strong long term customer partnerships in line with the Puratos Global and Puratos Turkey’s business strategy
  • Accountability for delivering budgeted sales in volume, turnover and gross margin
  • Maximize sales opportunities for current and new accounts with a high conversion rate
  • Evaluate new opportunities with project management’s corporate tools
  • Prepare the sales budget and following up
  • Implement all documentations about the sales process and the project management
  • Strong collaboration with the Business Units to ensure alignment with key product & category priorities

What we expect from you

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related subject is required, preferably Food or Chemical Engineering an MBA or master’s degree is a plus
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in key account management at multinational organizations is required. Significant exposure to broad business management, including the development, analysis, and management of strategic customers in food industry.
  • An interest in food and demonstrable commitment to social responsibility
  • A high level of analytical ability to drive sales efficiencies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Business fluent English
  • Open to travel
