RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the inventory of chemicals, consumables and equipment. Ordering, monitoring and disposal activities of chemicals. Maintain the equipment and the work area in good operating conditions, doing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Responsible person for lab projects from all categories (customer projects / innovation projects / positioning projects) for the whole BL CAD portfolio, including various market segments & areas of application (e.g. Decorative, Industrial, Automotive).
• Documentation of lab work results in tables, reports or presentations to ensure proper choice of innovation products & product recommendation for customers.
• Organization of customer visits in the CAD lab in Turkey including joint lab work with customers.
• Technical exchange with other lab teams & functions within CAD (regional & international); participation in global CAD Competence Teams & respective projects.
• Key user responsibility for transition to & maintenance of Electronic Lab Notebook system (“Evonik Smart Lab”).
• Responsible for issue, review & update of instructions and procedures; execution of all relevant ESHQ rules.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
• Min. 2 years technical experience in the coatings sector.
• Specialized technical knowledge on performance criteria and related test methods.
• Essentially, a Turkish native speaker and very fluent in English. German language skills is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in global teams.
