LD&T Assoc Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the Finished Product Warehouse activities are in accordance with the company’s goals, policies, procedures, standards, instructions and computer system, taking the necessary measures in this regard and controlling the implementation,
  • To carry out the Finished Product Warehouse organization and manpower planning in coordination with the Logistics Manager, to implement the approved organization and manpower plans,
  • Receiving and stacking the products produced in the production lines and palletized in the warehouse, all kinds of products sent from dealers / other factories / companies or sent to dealers / other factories / companies and the inputs and materials followed by the Finished Product Warehouse, unloading, taking into the warehouse, storing, to ensure that they are loaded and output, counted and records of all these works are kept,
  • Production, shipment and material schedules, sales, stock, manpower, etc. to prepare, implement and publish the weekly shift order, daily action plan and task distribution, taking the situations into account.
  • Stock / shipment / material / sales / human power etc. Sharing information about their situation with the Factory Logistics Manager,
  • Providing / ensuring the regular and packaged shipment of products, inputs and materials to be sent to other factories / warehouses, as well as receiving and preserving the incoming products, inputs and materials in the same way.
  • Empty containers, products coming from production lines / dealers / other factories / companies and counting receipts, dispatch notes, invoices etc. of inputs and materials followed by the Finished Product Warehouse. to check / have their compliance with documents and computer records,
  • Supporting the shipment plans of empty containers, products and materials to be sent to other factories / warehouses
  • Loading charts, exit receipts, delivery notes etc. for products and advertising materials to be loaded in dealers and other warehouses. to check / have their compliance with documents and computer records,
  • To have the incoming vehicles checked for tonnage / capacity for products to be sent to other factories / warehouses and dealers.
  • Ensuring effective use of WMS system in stacking, loading and deliveries of products, inputs and materials, controlling the compliance with the principle of “First in – first out” based on the expiry date.
  • To work in coordination with the Logistics Manager and Finished Product Depot Departments / Directorates in other factories / warehouses, to interim storage and dispatch the products, inputs and auxiliary materials of other factories when necessary,
  • To monitor the products that are approaching the expiration of their shelf life through the WMS system and share them weekly with the General Directorate Planning and Factory Logistics Manager within the “Urgent shipment request form”, and to provide source information to take necessary actions and actions,
  • Having daily actual counts of all kinds of products, empty containers and inputs and materials followed by the Finished Product Warehouse, checking the Daily Stock Status Form.
  • To compare the records of the Production and Accounting departments regarding the actual count, computer records, loss, destruction, shipment reports and all kinds of products, empty containers and materials that are entered or exited from the warehouse, to determine the differences, if there are any, to ensure / ensure daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations
  • To examine the inventory and inventory results, to provide the necessary reconciliations and to inform the Logistics Manager, to report the monthly inventory results to the cost accounting
  • To participate in the delegation established at the factory at the end of the year and monthly to carry out inventory counting,
  • Ensuring that labels / plates showing the information of stocking addresses integrated with the current system are found,
  • To follow up daily (monthly for exit operations) that are lost, destroyed or determined to be unsuitable for empty containers, products, cases, pallets, bottles, etc. Informing the Logistics Manager and implementing solutions in coordination with the upper management,
  • To classify the products with damaged and mixed packaging, to stack them in designated places, to have them shrink, to have damaged / broken pallets repaired, to keep the relevant records and to inform the Logistics Manager,
  • Preventing the use of vehicles / forklifts, as well as the use of illegal vehicles / forklifts,
  • Providing support for downloading, uploading and shipping of other departments in the factory as needed.
  • To take and implement the necessary precautions in order to prevent all kinds of waste in the warehouse and to minimize the time losses,
  • To identify existing or potential problems that prevent efficient work in the Finished Product Warehouse and the departments accepted as add-ons, to study the problems and find solutions, to report to the General Directorate in coordination with the Logistics Manager and to implement the accepted suggestions,
  • Preparing projects and studies that will increase efficiency and quality and save money in loading, unloading, shipping, placing, recording and counting works, making proposals to the upper management in coordination with the Logistics Manager and implementing the projects deemed appropriate,
  • To check the accuracy of the order delays according to the stock status realized by the data officers.
  • To arrange / have the reports about Finished Product Warehouse activities requested by the Logistics Manager, to check these reports and to send them to the relevant places,
  • To take necessary occupational health and safety measures and to ensure that the rules on this issue are followed,
  • To ensure that the Finished Product Warehouse and the sections accepted as its attachments are clean and tidy, to prepare and implement the relevant instructions / measures,
  • To take the necessary precautions to ensure the security of the Finished Product Warehouse, to implement the measures taken, to prevent persons other than himself and his authorized supervisors from entering the warehouse,
  • To establish relations with other private and public institutions related to its subject and to develop existing relations, to represent the Company in these organizations,
  • To take actions based on the feedback from the Production and Quality Assurance departments in order to maximize the service quality,
  • Carrying out the necessary field and document checks before the periodic national or international audits and improving if any, or making the findings compliant with the standard with the support of the relevant department.
  • To act in coordination with the Human Resources Department regarding the orientation of the personnel to be hired, dismissed and new personnel,
  • To ensure that the personnel working under him / her work in accordance with the principles and rules of the workplace in terms of business ethics and work discipline; to follow the issues, to act in coordination with the Human Resources Department in these matters,
  • Ensuring the optimum work order with the least personnel in the Finished Product Warehouse, thus providing the maximum benefit from the workforce,
  • To cooperate closely with its personnel, to listen to their wishes / requests and suggestions, to implement appropriate and correct suggestions for an effective activity and high efficiency,
  • To continuously and actively motivate the personnel who are attached to it in order to achieve the highest efficiency with optimum manpower, equipment and materials,
  • To train staff for critical positions,
  • To evaluate the performances of its personnel, to increase the knowledge and skills of the personnel,to increase their productivity, to contribute to the training programs prepared for team spirit, to put into effect training programs, to give personal trainings,
  • Keeping clean and protecting fixed assets that are given by company to himself/herself and his/her personnel.
  • To participate actively in social activities and organizations organized in the workplace, and to ensure their participation
  • To act in accordance with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System procedures and instructions in all maintenance activities.
  • To comply with the rules determined in accordance with the Environmental Management System and Environmental Legislation on waste management and use of natural resources,
  • Notifying the Environmental Officer or the Management Environment representative in case of environmental problems or non-compliance,
  • To perform other duties assigned by the relevant supervisors in matters that may be included in their duties, powers and responsibilities,
  • To work in accordance with workplace principles and rules in terms of business ethics and work discipline.
  • In order to achieve Productivity target forming vacation, working order plan for the employee and implement this plan accurately.
  • Providing systematic entries of leave forms, overtime and leave and reconciliation with HR
  • Control and follow-up of 270 hours overtime per year
  • Participating in meetings with other factory-based departments.
  • Determining the service and purchase purchases made on the basis of the finished product warehouse, systematic order opening, approval and follow-up.
  • To ensure interviews and systematic entry / exit of temporary personnel during the seasonal period.
  • Tracking and reporting KPI’s of operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree on related fields
  • Fluent in Turkish & English, both written and spoken.
  • Advance level MS Office knowledge
  • Managerial skills required for the position
  • To have experience on ERP& WMS systems.
  • High communication skills and to be compatible with teamwork.
  • Good reporting and presentation skills.
