We are looking for a Logistics Operations Specialist at Roche Diagnostics.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Systematic tracking of Inbound and Outbound operations and ensuring the accuracy of SAP and 3PL systems in this area
- Identifying and resolving any system-related (SAP) errors in the Inbound or Outbound areas
- Opening tickets for issues with the global team and ensuring resolution by IT or other stakeholders (e.g., UTS Company, e-invoice company, etc.)
- Systematically managing the second inbound process, return operations, and coordinating with the order management department
- Preparing necessary stock and shipment reports on a monthly basis and supporting analyses
- Tracking and coordinating urgent orders (cargo or vehicle) and providing support
- Monitoring the entries and system accuracy for items received separately from reagents, such as devices and spare parts
- Performing stock corrections, improvements, and efficient inventory management efforts (working on location-based activities for optimal stock management according to fluctuating sales volumes)
- Resolving stock discrepancies, ensuring that returned items are correctly added to stock or appropriately disposed of
- Conducting regular monthly stock checks with the 3PL side, ensuring accurate counts of empty and full locations according to the system, and preparing the 3PL for annual general counts
- Managing physical disposals and coordinating the preparation for disposal of quarantined products
- Supporting the creation of distribution plans (determining vehicle types and approvals for city-based deliveries)
- Actively participating in any 3PL changes, supporting reports, global meetings, and new design efforts with the manager and team
- Preparing monthly KPI reports summarizing overall operations and comparing with monthly reports from the 3PL, identifying any deficiencies
- Identifying internal issues that need correction, discussing with the manager, and bringing them to the agenda
- Ensuring the updates of SAP MM and SD modules and actively participating in their development with consultants
- Conveying material requirements plans to purchase via ERP (operational internal purchases and services, disposal, boxes, pallets, etc.)
- Ensuring the entry of delivery documents for sales invoices representing the physical and system accuracy of sold orders into SAP
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduated from relevant bachelor’s degree programs
- Developed skills in logistics operations, planning, reporting, coordination, and organization
- At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and logistics operations & inventory control
- Preferably experienced in the Diagnostics or Pharmaceutical distribution sectors
- Preferably proficient in SAP (MM & E-WM) in Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficient in English
- Experienced with SAP interfaces, able to actively manage the interface side
- Capable of addressing issues with SAP and third-party software companies regarding e-invoices and e-waybills
- Will actively manage the UTS tracking system post-transition (Warehouse side)
- Knowledgeable in warehouse operations (3PL Management is a preference)
- Highly proficient in MS Office programs
- Analytical thinker
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work in coordination with other departments within the supply chain
- Willing to work from the 3PL building near Tuzla 5 days a week
