Logistics Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to achieve agreed SFD, stock levels and CSL, monitors ICSL, SSL for the defined portfolio.
  • Continuously reviews the Sales/ Production forecast of defined portfolio of a country or a group of countries on short, mid and long term, in quantity and value.
  • Orders items from production sites, suppliers and co-packers, and follows up deliveries in order to fulfil the sales/ production plan in timing and quantities
  • Communicates, manages and solves actual and potential supply issues.
  • Maintains and periodically reviews planning master data in SAP and IPB to implement adequate forecasting model, replenishment and stock strategies.
  • Coordinates co-packing activities with main focus on availability, saving costs, production schedule and raw material replenishment
  • Coordinates Import activities.
  • Ensures the sales forecast input from other department is on time and accurate (promotions, launches, delisting)
  • Prepares data for the bi-monthly reviews and consensus meeting
  • Manages SCM related tasks of quality issues.
  • Manages phase-in/ phase-out situations and SLOBs.
  • Continuously improves operational efficiency (process improvements, new SCM solutions, support to central tenders).
  • Directly Reports to: Country Operations Manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in business and administration or in industrial engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain is required
  • Preferably two years’ experience in demand planning in consumer goods company or B2B is a plus
  • Excel mastery
  • Knowledge in SAP, IBP and BI
  • Advance English, native-level Turkish language skills
  • Good user knowledge in MS-Office
  • Basic financial and commercial knowledge
  • Customer orientation and negotiation skills
  • Structured working style
  • Good statistical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Distinct team spirit
  • Communication skills, enjoying working on international and intercultural environment
  • Proactivity, initiative and resilience
