Job Description

  • Develops good relations with social organizations, clubs, associations, newspapers, other media organs, protocol, general and local administrative units. Ensures that the data of these sources is kept up-to-date in our information system.
  • Actively participates in the preparation, operation and support of the hotel’s social and promotional activities. Also participates in many social events outside the hotel 
  • Plays an active role in finding sponsors for the organizations in the hotel.
  • Coordinates with local and international public relations representatives with whom we are connected.
  • Assists the Public Relations and Marketing Communications Manager and provides up-to-date information for local and international press, Swissôtel Head Office and sister hotels.
  • Hosts hotel familiarization tours (Fam. Trip) for members of the press and welcomes guests.
  • Promotes materials to assist with hotel promotions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Marketing or any relevant field;
  • 3+ years’ experience in Marketing within Hospitality/Hotels;
  • Vast knowledge in financial planning and strategy, marketing concepts, and sales planning;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;

Additional Information

experience is an asset

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
