BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for Mechanical Design Engineer.

Responsibilities 

• Designing mechanical systems to improve line productivity & product quality. 
• Preparing installation guides for technicians who will assemble new designs. 
• Specifying tolerances for new design equipment, tools and parts 
• Choosing materials and analysing treatments and coatings according to designs. 
• Choosing standard mechanical components (pneumatic cylinders, guides, Bearings, Etc.) 
• Archiving design files in the SAP and network system. 
• Drawing updates & coordination with HQ and Local Plant. 
• Member for Improvement Projects & 8D Teams 

Requirements 

• At least 2 years of experience in similar positions 
• Manufacturing Processes 
• Machine elements 
• Machining processes 
• Good CAD knowledge and ability 
• Mechanical design fundamentals 
• ISO 9001:2000, ISO-TS 16949 
• MS Office 
• SAP 
• AutoCAD 
• PTC Direct Modelling, 3DS Solidworks or any other 3D CAD Program 
• Turkish and English
