Medical Manager Diabetes

This role is based in İstanbul, and reports to the Head of Medical and Scientific Affairs.

The Position

As Medical Manager of Diabetes area, you will be our product expert and a leading partner in the generation, interpretation, and communication of medical and scientific data among internal and external stakeholders (KOLs, HCPs and other influencers). You will develop medico-marketing strategies for your assigned portfolio (including current and future products) in close collaboration with other local/regional departments (clinical, marketing, regulatory, market access, regional CMR (Clinical& Medical& Regulatory) etc) ensuring the best product positioning and promotion. Moreover, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Turkish affiliate is equipped and trained to deliver the best possible scientific interactions with the external scientific community.

As part of your key responsibilities:

  • Developing KOL Management strategy for your products and driving cross-functional team to ensure achievement of targets
  • Developing content for Medical Education activities, facilitating and delivering presentations at local meetings, symposia, and external conferences
  • Providing medical and scientific support, education and training across all internal business functions and external community.
  • Driving cross functional team to set up and run national advisory boards.
  • Evaluating and facilitating investigator sponsored studies, driving real world evidence generation, and leading publication planning strategy.

Qualifications

You have a bachelor’s degree in Faculty of Medicine and have excellent command of written and spoken English and Turkish. Having a minimum 3 years of experience in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical industry or knowledge and experience in diabetes area and new product launch will be considered as an advantage.

Further sought-after skills are;

  • You have proven track record of professional experience gained from medical practice or working on a medical affairs department.
  • You have strategical mindset, ability to drive business with science by connecting, integrating, and implementing medical affairs and business priorities.
  • You have making things happen mindset
  • You have strong ability to initiative, drive and are being persistence, and agility in actions

Reporting into our Head of Medical Affairs Diabetes, you will play a key role within our Clinical, Medical & Regulatory unit.
