NetApp BU Support Engineer

Job Purpose:

Technical support professional provides on-site and remote support for customers. Technical support professional install, configure broad range of products sold by TD SYNNEX at an intermediate level. Their responsibilities include integrating the systems into customer application environment, monitoring the performance, logging queries of customers and responding to call-outs in a timely fashion. This position requires working after hours as well as a presence on-site as required. Moreover, they need to manage the returned parts process, talk to customers directly and create written documentation and verbal documentation.

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of small-medium size customer issues reported through customer calls and autosupport messages. Follow the SLA for the issues and provide field and remote support at the customer site accordingly. (20%)

Monitor systems sold by TD SYNNEX to ensure that operates consistently and at desired performance to meet customers business requirements. Inform the customers proactively for potential risks and problems to maintain business critical applications. (10%)

Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues. Escalate unresolved issues to senior TSEs in the team or related vendor. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers. (30%)

Hardware installation and physical deployment of products at small and medium size customers. (30%)

Parts replacement. Manage RMA process follow up with vendor, define and take the parts and contacts and sends to the vendor. (10%)

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

>3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience

Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.

Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.

Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others.

Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.

Able to use relevant computer systems and applications at an intermediate level.

Able to quickly learn/adapt to new systems and technology.

Ability to transport 40 Lbs.

Able to be immobile for long extended periods.
