Oceanfreight Commercial Center Specialist

Job Purpose

• Executes all oceanfreight pricing activities to reach budgeted GP and volume.
• Ensures accurate and timely movement of freight and information among all stakeholders.
• Takes commercial responsibility for assigned trade.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures execution of oceanfreight pricing activities for assigned trade
• Optimizes GP and volume and ensures growth
• Analyzes volume and GP to ensure all operations and pricing are within trade target
• Manages product prices and evaluates margin in order to achieve goals and budget
• Manages hit ratios on respective trades
• Ensures Quoteoshop usage
• Receives, reviews, and responds incoming requests from marketing&sales team and network in a timely manner
• Follows customer feedbacks on pricing and takes needed action
• Follows, verifies and reports competition activities including competition pricing strategy for assigned trade
• Provides innovative advices on how to best utilize existing products
• Works closely with marketing&sales team, joins customer visits ro provide oceanfreight product expertise

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of oceanfreight forwarding business and carrier/supplier landscape
• Large geographical country and region knowledge
• Significant experience in logistics procurement at local scale
• Very good team player with a high motivation to collaborate and a customer centric approach
• Very good command of English&Turkish(written&verbal)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• No military service obligations (for male candidates)
