Job Identification
We are looking for a Payments Specialist to be a part of our Financial Services Center PTP team located in Istanbul Office.
Responsible for the timely creation, control and execution of payment proposals. Actively strive for ensuring that payment best practices are implemented in all CCI geographies. Constantly strive in finding ways in which the AP process can be further improved.
What We Expect
- Run payment proposal and check correctness of data and vendor balance
- Execute payment in the bank systems
- Conduct Payments End of Period activities e.g.: Accounts Clearing, Cashflow Reporting
- Deliver the highest quality of service as defined by the team leader in conjunction with the business units
- Meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and productivity targets
- Execute invoice processing and posting
- Execute all closing operations as per the defined timetable
- Establish good relationship with customers maintaining open communication channels and developing high standards for service delivery
- Provide input into continuous process improvement
- Ensure that all process controls are operational, actively identifying control gaps and recommend possible solutions
- Recognize and communicate potential issues/risks within the team and work with the team to generate solutions
Qualifications
- Min. 2 years of experience in an accounting, payments or treasury role
- Good command of English (both written and verbal); Knowledge of one of the following languages will be considered an asset: Turkish, Arabic, Russian or any of the CA local languages
- Knowledge of SAP Accounts Payable Module
- Proficient user of MS applications
- Strong focus on providing the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers
- Ability to coordinate with other internal departments to deliver a seamless service to customers
- Confident, self motivated and enthusiastic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound understanding of the end to end Procure to Pay process and treasury operations.
