Personnel and Physical Security Manager

What you’ll do

  • Manage and Develop Personnel & Physical Security Function
  • Develop Physical Security Policies, Standards and Compliance
  • Provide Personnel Security
  • Perform and Develop Risk Assessments
  • Provide Advice and Consultancy in Travel Security
  • Provide Event Security
  • Support Business Goals and Objectives
  • Implement Best Practice and Continuous Process Improvement
  • Manage Security Incidents & Emergencies
  • Provide support in implementation of company’s HS policies and standards.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business/Management) and 10 years of progressive experience in technical and operational functions in a corporate security, military or law enforcement position.
  • Well documented managerial experience in security operations and one or more of the following areas: planning, service development or related operational field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company, or any combination of above.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, applying personnel and physical security policies, procedures, principles, tools and techniques.
  • Experienced team leader able to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to re-prioritize workload to support urgent security related requests from various operations.
  • Experience in implementation of policy and risk led approach to personnel and physical security issues.
  • Ability to interpret legislation.
  • Experience in the field with a mix of consultative and security audit experience.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with staff at all levels & disciplines, securing involvement, confidence, and co-operation in executing assignments, generating buy-in and ownership of the work performed.
  • Proven ability to deal with different management styles while remaining proactive and flexible; and to influence key business leaders to drive change initiatives.
  • Excellent understanding of Personnel & Physical Security.
  • Good command of English (able to prepare reports and speak).
  • Knowledge in Health & Safety and/or Emergency/Disaster Preparations Management.
  • Required to be available 24/7 for security related emergency situations.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances.
  • Strong cross-group collaboration and relationship management skills including directing & coordinating teams to achieve deliverables.
  • Professional certifications are desired. (CPP, PSP, etc.)
  • Have belief in his/her own ability, decision and opinion even in challenging circumstances.
  • Driving High Performance: He/ She is totally clear about what’s required and are effective at getting high performance from others to deliver our business goals.
  • Flexibility: Have real Flexibility and can adapt to a variety of situations, even when it affects his/her own role and responsibilities.

  • Initiative: To do things proactively, stepping up and taking action to improve current situations or address challenges and potential opportunities.
  • Leadership: Engage people on the direction and goals for team or project and excellent role model.
  • Organisational Awareness : Know how to find our way around and communicate within the business.
  • Self Development : To be focus on his /her development needs and build on strengths, taking a longer term perspective for planning his/her careers.
  • Solutions Driven and Ability to work with teams
