PLAN APPROVAL SURVEYOR – STABILITY – TÜRKİYE

As we continue to develop Marine & Offshore activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organisation as Plan Approval Surveyor for Stability operations. Position is located within our Istanbul office in Türkiye. S/he will be welcomed in a supportive and continuous learning environment.

Job Definition:

• Perform review of marine stability documents, freeboard&tonnage calculations according to applicable rules and regulations.
• Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Support and provide technical advice to clients.
• Participate in meetings (both internal and external) as required.
• Support Equipment & Material Certification team and Consultancy Services team in drawing review, inspection or consultancy work, as and when required.
• Attend all scheduled trainings (locally and overseas) and ultimately achieving specified delegations as agreed in Performance Management Process.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of time & expense sheets.
• Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.

Requirements:

• Degree in Naval Architect and Marine/Ocean Engineering.
• Good command of English verbal and written,
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience,
• Site experience (shipyards, design companies) and/or design review experience within the maritime industry,
• Team player with a sense of responsibility.
