The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Plant Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Drive EHS active visible ownership and leadership of results within the operations of the plant.

• Leading a team of employees dedicated to making products to enhance homes and improve lives for people around the world.

• Leading operational excellence at our Turkey sites through conscientious management and decisive actions in environment, health, safety, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, cost, and employee relations

• Overseeing plant environment, health, safety, and security practices that respect our environment, meet requirements established by regulatory bodies, protect our employees, and align with company expectations.

• Drive continuous improvement activities by using appropriate methodologies.

• Ensure appropriate supply chain performance (through the eyes of the customer) through responsiveness, delivery performance, capacity management, supplier management.

• Drive sustainable improvements in factory cost through application of Continuous Improvement, entitlement thinking, yield improvement and plant productivity considering all global extended supply chains.

• Partner with the global business teams to insure strong alignment of plant goals, metrics and targets with the business/division targets.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• At least five (5) years of manufacturing experience

• Three (3) years of supervisory and/or management experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience in Operations Management

• Expert knowledge and experience in production management, lean manufacturing and materials control

• Strong Communication and Change Management skills

• Experience being a Manager/Supervisor in a union environment

• Experience in Lean manufacturing methodologies in driving supply chain improvement.
