Job Description
In the role as Process Development Engineer, you will have the change to shape the future transport landscape at Bosch for the EMEA region. You will work centrally at Global Logistics Services supporting the worldwide implementation of the Next Generation Transport Management (NGTM) for air- and sea freight transports.
Responsible for optimizing the intercontinental transport network in accordance with given requirements as well as support the roll-out of the Next Generation Transport Management (NGTM) for sea- and airfreight at Bosch EMEA
Key contact towards plants, handling ad-hoc requests / trainings – increasing customer satisfaction within EMEA region
Drive process and network improvement and implementation activities independently and on multi-plant level
Analyze the performance of the defined transportation network on multi-plant level
Request changes in the system based on information from supplier/LSP/plant
Monitor and participate in the NGTM introduction phase and coordinate internal/external departments
Collect and implement transport cost reduction ideas to support network optimization
Represents own tasks towards management and customers
Ensure proper information flow among LSP, suppliers and plants
Support tender preparation, evaluation, and implementation for intercontinental transport solutions
Qualifications
Degree/Master in Industrial Engineering
3 years experience in logistics applications, transportation background in air- and sea freight processes is preferred
SAP MM/WM Experience (SAP Power User/Expert experience is an asset)
Knowledge of different digital platforms, tech-savvy
Proficiency with Microsoft office tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills (team player, sharing know-how and results with colleagues)
Ability to take ownership for own work and apply own initiative to find solutions
Results-oriented, methodical and pro-active attitude with a strong problem-solving mindset
Strong customer orientation, intrinsic motivation to enhance logistics service quality
Ability to work under pressure in a very dynamic work environment
