Inviting applications for the role of Procurement – Senior Process associate – Turkish – Hybrid Bucharest

In this role, you will support the indirect buying process of a worldwide FMCG customer, by triaging and approving purchase requests as per the agreed purchasing policy. 

Responsibilities 

• Validate Review Quote and Supporting Documentation attached in the Purchase Requisition
• Perform Compliance check and Create Purchase Orders in the relevant system
• Resolve Queries related to Vendor, PO Amendment, Training, Finding right approver
• Effectively manage internal customers on queries related to Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders received via Email or Ticketing tool
• Manual GR creation management
• Responsible for PO Management process e.g.: soft close POs, change PTs, change Incoterms, change PO owners
• Invoice reversal management when needed in collaboration with AP team
• Invoice blocked management
• Perform all duties within assigned timeline and effectively communicate progress of assigned tasks
• Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement
• Update the working procedures periodically
• Maintain and develop relationships with relevant markets and client serviced by team and all major customers within those markets as appropriate;
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovative solutions.

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications / Skills 

• Very good knowledge of Turkish language, min. B2;
• Good knowledge of English language, B2;
• Previous experience in operational and tactical buying, procurement of indirect sourcing and procurement delivery as part of the overall procurement strategy;

• Good problem solving ability
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Fast learner and team player
• Good ability to work with sensitive, confidential information
• Personal culture and client management experience
• Willingness to improve through a fruitful collaboration with a world-class customer
• Hands on experience on Coupa (preference) /Service Now tools is encouraged
