Regional Technical Service Veterinarian – TMEA Region

The Aviagen Group is a multi-national poultry breeding company headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, with locations in approximately 25 countries. Aviagen companies supply broiler breeder day-old grandparent and parent stock chicks to customers located in more than 100 countries.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an outstanding Technical Service Veterinarian to provide support to our customers in Turkiye, Middle East and Africa for prevention, diagnosis and management of the full range of broiler and broiler breeder health issues. This position will be a member of our Global Technical Operations Team.

Ideal candidate has the following experience, skills, and attributes:

Degree in Veterinary Medicine with previous experience and/or postdoctoral degree/training in Avian Medicine
Minimum of 5 years practicing veterinary medicine experience with broiler breeder and/or broiler production
Fluent in English. Arabic and/or French would be advantageous.
Ability to travel extensively (60%) in the TMEA (Turkey, Middle East, and Africa) region, working in the field with Aviagen clients
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Creative, high in self-motivation, team player, proactive problem-solver
Fluent in Microsoft Office suite
Demonstrate excellent presentation, technical writing, and communication skills.
Skilled in clinical diagnosis of health problems and ability to develop and communicate appropriate solutions with clients and colleagues.
Knowledge of experimental design (field and research facilities) for poultry health technical development, data analysis, and interpretation of analyzed results a plus
Basic statistical analysis a plus
