The Relationship Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for assisting clients and Bankers.
Responsibilities:
- Works on developing relationships with clients and assists bankers and senior bankers with their client portfolio by providing support for relationship management activities.
- Develops relationships with various internal parties, including Parent Account Managers, Product Partners, Institutional Credit Management, Risk, Services and Operations teams to provide client support and problem resolution and assists clients with navigating extensive Citi network
- Provides consistent and quality support of relationship management activities; managing routine credit queries, problem escalation; acts as a client point person and assists Bankers when appropriate, in closing transactions
- Attends client meetings and/or calls and liaises with relevant Product Partners and support teams to recognize key takeaways and opportunities for client follow ups
- Supports the team with the day-to-day and periodic operational, administrative, organizational and local regulatory matters (i.e.preparing one-pager for senior client calls, scheduling client visits, provide support for preparing presentations, regular and ad hoc reports, take part in internal Control related processes and procedures, support transaction execution by working with operations, Risk and other support functions etc.)
- Develops understanding of Citi’s credit approval process and WCR Operating Model and related systems, initiates regular contacts with Institutional Credit Management and Transaction Management teams when needed.
- Facilitates credit allocation, approvals, documentation, bookings as well as credit allocation from Parent Account Management teams.
- Supports bankers on client onboarding and “Know Your Customer” process for new and existing clients.
- Develops understanding of Citi KYC and BSU Client onboarding and Renewal Standards, Global AML Policy and their governing bodies and works with KDG / KYC Analysts for KYC renewals and onboarding KYCs, supports resolution of AML-related risk issues
- Supports timely and diligent completion of all compliance procedures and processes, resolution of compliance related risk issues, in coordination with relevant internal and external counterparties (i.e. relationship managers, Compliance Division, other relevant business partners and clients)
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a banking environment is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, and Turkish
- Strong skills in MS Office tools – Word, Excel, Power Point
- Analytical, diligent and results-oriented person who can multi-task and prioritize
- Strong time management skills with a high organization capability
- A high level of customer orientation (internal & external) and results oriented
