Marketing & Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Supports the sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers, Provides technical support and consultation during the technical meetings, product presentations, negotia-tions and offers product/ solution/service-related training, Lead the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements in coordi-nation with Local Business Line/feeder factory indications and Sales organization directives, Negotiates the customer contract T&C’s, and align them with ABB T&C’s, Runs the Global and Local RR process, where necessary, Handovers the project in the kickoff meeting, Defines cost for the proposed solution and communicates to Sales organization, Provides information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participates in the risk review assessment, Analyzes customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provid-ed by the Sales organization, Performs lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Line to obtain better future results.

Qualifications for the role

  • University degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering,
  • At least 6-7 years of Low Voltage systems and switchgears sales/tendering, design or commissioning experi-ence,
  • Experience in technical clarification and reading specifications of Low Voltage switchgears
  • Experience in contractual negotiation is highly preferred,
  • Strong ability to present the product and organization technically and commercially,
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish, also Spanish is a plus,
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Applications,
  • Agile, teamwork and result-oriented profile with strong interpersonal & communication skills,
  • Able to work with diverse cultures in a multinational environment
  • No restriction to travel if needed.
