Our team

Under the oversight of Medical Head Eurasia, the Eurasia Medical Operations team in collaboration with the local medical teams (Prelaunch/Launch Therapeutic Areas, Growth and Established Products) will contribute to lead the strategic directions and operational implementation of the Brand Medical Plans within the countries of the segment.

The Scientific Engagement Specialist is an expert in operational questions for Sanofi employees on Scientific External Expert (SEE) engagement process and other medical activities in compliance with global and local policies, industry codes and laws and ensure of processes’ appropriate level of execution is in place.

Main responsibilities

  • Review and approve SEE engagement requests to ensure compliance with global, local policies and SOPs, local country law and regulations and in accordance with pre-defined criteria
  • Support Medical Excellence Manager across medical activities, processes as operational expert
  • Support internal stakeholders in the process of SEE interaction and engagement with providing appropriate feedback in timely manner
  • Ability to work in the corporate system (e.g. event management, SEE database) with performing routine activities based on internal rules
  • Monitoring of medical activities, statistics and benchmark analytics preparation, trend analysis
  • Ensure Medical Governance activities are included in the wider internal audit plans, preparation the materials for Internal monitoring, analyze the results, further control of the recommendations’ implementation
  • Participation in processes development & tools implementation for SEE engagements to drive increase of efficiency and optimization of existing and new SOPs.
  • Support in all aspects of Fair Market Value (FMV) for the development of FMV assessments and tools to determine appropriate compensation for services in SEE engagements
  • Support of cross-functional medical affairs projects related to medical compliance
  • Train internal employee in terms of SEE engagement, event process, and ither relevant medical processes
  • Evaluate the risks in the field of responsibility and in this respect inform the manager and related medical colleagues
  • Coordination work with agencies – supporting the internal and external communications teams with requests and projects as requested

About you

Education:

  • Under-graduate degree is a must, degree in medicine, biology, pharmacy is preferred

Work experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in medical department – preferred
  • Successful experience in internal audit

Language

  • Fluency in English is preferred

Skills and knowledges:

  • Excellent oral/written communications skills
  • Building partnership and working relationships – ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
  • Ability to analyse and organize big amount of the information
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Great communication and relationship building skills including effective negotiation skills
  • Ability to perform monotonous routine work, attention to details: repeated actions to achieve success and overcome difficulties; ability to check self for mistakes in correspondence and reports
  • The ability to execute tasks and projects both independently and as part of a team where required
  • A growth mindset with the ability to adapt and pivot in an ever-changing environment
  • Good computer and database skills (Word, Excel, Power Point), electronic databases (including event management & scientific external expert systems)
