The Team Member will be part of the Record to Report tower in the new dormakaba business services for Europe. The role holder will be responsible to perform activities within the scope of the dormakaba business services tower, flag inefficiencies and develop improvement opportunities. The role is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Execute assigned tasks on time to ensure efficient service delivery and address open issues proactively and support resolution
Ensure application of process standards and procedures
Collaborate with team members and other Finance stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of Finance transaction processes
Identify areas for improvement and recommend improvement solutions in the activity areas, recommend changes of process standards and procedures to obtain efficiencies
Responsible for maintaining updated high-quality process documentation
Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations
Perform fixed assets calculation, postings and reporting
Manage recurring journal entries and accruals
Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
Perform financial management reporting; prepare balance sheets, P&L statements and other reports
Contribute to ensure service delivery of the team is within the agreed SLAs and KPIs
Coordination and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders
Support Service Delivery Lead in any additional activities as required
Endorse dormakaba culture and ways of working among the peer group
An experience that matters: Your Skills
BSc or MSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
4+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting or related field
Experience in near-shore transitions, shared services or business process outsourcing is required
Good understanding of accounting principles and standards, including understanding of GAAP and IFRS, understanding of Finance processes in closing, reconciliation of financial accounts and preparing consolidated financial statements
Ability to interact with team members and other Finance stakeholders at various levels
Good communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to prioritize tasks at hand, time management skills
Detailed oriented, proactive and structured way of working
Understanding of end-to-end Finance process, systems and data flows; SAP experience; strong MS Office skills
Fluent in Turkish and English
