Senior Direct Category Procurement Manager

Danone Türkiye is looking for a talented colleague for the “Senior Direct Category Procurement Manager” position.

As a Senior Direct Category Manager, you will be an individual contributor in this role and reporting to the Cycles & Procurement Director.

In this role you will;

• Define sourcing strategy
• Procurement experience across different market
• Developing function by driving new approaches, improved processes and valuable insights-
• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective,
• Supply security management support
• Contract execution
• Supervise and coordinate the purchasing team
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors
• Business & financials understanding of how procurement brings financial value to the overall profit and loss
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers,
• Prepare market analysis & market reports.
• Driving “Responsible Sourcing” initiatives in line with global initiatives and working proactively and aligning with Global Category Management for
• Regional Procurement strategy.
• Monitoring the market supply situation , pre-alert / alert the supply risk and activate the potential mitigation actions.
• Ensure all the targets as like; savings, cash flow and others are agreed & achieved
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in preferably Engineering or Business Administration,
• At least 8 years of experience at least 3 years of within paper and/or FMCG environment in Procurement and/or Supply Chain management,
• Strong analytical and purchasing skills with the ability to see the big picture and focus on results
• Strong project management skills Advanced negotiation skills
• Highly comfortable when dealing with a lot of numbers & data Proactive and excellent relationship management skills
• Curiosity, persuasion, organization, team worker, pragmatism
• Language English
• Ability to travel
