The Position

As a Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence you’ll be responsible for leading and shaping our regional strategy. You will be driving innovation in commercial excellence, fostering best practices across affiliates, and collaborating with stakeholders to refine go-to-market strategies. You will be directly reporting to our Senior Director Customer Engagement.

• Leading and setting the strategic direction for Commercial Excellence across the APAC region.
• Fostering innovation in commercial engagement models, tools, and processes.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams to optimize sales performance and drive growth.
• Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Providing coaching and support to affiliates in developing market-aligned approaches.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have bachelor’s degree relevant to pharma business management or science related, fluent in English with excellent virtual collaboration skills.

• Minimum of seven years of work experience in commercial roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Regular exposure to regional or global teams in commercial or commercial excellence functions 
• Track record of cross-functional project leadership assignments.
• You have strong business drive with customer centricity, business acumen and be able to contribute to cross functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated analytical capability and proven strategic leadership with an ability to synthesize insights, create focus, and influence the organization to move forward.

You naturally connect with people and teams, bringing a resilient and analytical approach to problem-solving, always seeking the best solutions through data-driven insights.

About the Department

The Senior Manager Commercial Excellence will be based in our regional office in Istanbul and will be a member of Customer Engagement team in APAC. With a team of dedicated professionals, the department is responsible for driving superior customer engagement for today while strategically building the future for best in class customer experience in region. APAC is a key region for Novo Nordisk, and our team plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our business in this dynamic and diverse region.
