What are my responsibilities?
- Responsible for the delivery of projects on time, budget, and quality.
- Drive schedule and deliverables with engineering, procurement, site team, and further project functions.
- Deliver the project in line with the EHS rules and regulations and maintain zero harm.
- Maintain communication with customers, key suppliers, 3rd party contractors, management, and other stakeholders.
- Lead project teams and direct subject matter experts, support functions, and third-party partners to execute customer projects and achieve project targets.
- Ensure compliance with standards, rules, and regulations. set up a framework to regularly check compliance in projects and with subcontractors.
- Responsible for executing projects effectively to meet financial targets using framework guidelines and acting by Siemens business conduct guidelines.
- Drive overall project planning and decide on the allocation of resources. build and maintain project timeline. align landmarks between the customer and internal partners.
- Develop and guide project/program solution plans for complex projects or programs.
- Initiate actions to avoid or minimize non-conformance costs and seize opportunities to improve project financials. negotiate contract change orders and claims.
- Define the schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity, and resource allocation management.
- Support preparing budgets and forecasts for projects (e.g., order entry, revenue, gross margin).
- Identify and assess opportunities and risks, define suitable measures for reducing risks or realizing opportunities, and take precautions for remaining risks.
- Monitor project progress identifying and mitigating risks and Issues and escalating where appropriate within Siemens management.
- Ensure the implementation of quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle through effective implementation of the Siemens quality assurance process.
- Interface with the sales team and, as required, deliver Siemens tenders as part of an early-involved expert. Including the development of project-specific execution strategies and other deliverables which may form part of a tender submission.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Electronic / Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Rail Infrastructure or relevant project/site management experience.
- Experience in the delivery of projects through the full project life cycle.
- Development and implementation of innovative project execution strategies
- Commercial awareness, able to contribute to commercial and contractual issues, drawing upon experience with railway/engineering contracts.
- Experience in leading (disciplinary or functional) team members.
- PMP certificate, and IPMA degree in is an advantage.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Turkish citizen
