The Opportunity

Lead and deliver impactful transportation projects, shaping the future of mobility. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of challenging projects, working with a team of experts to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

As a Senior Railway/Highway Engineer at Arup, you will:

• Lead the design and project management of diverse transportation projects, including metro, rail, highway, and road projects.
• Develop and review drawings, reports, calculations, bills of quantities (BOQs), and specifications, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Prepare bid documents for high-profile projects, working within tight deadlines.

We’re looking for someone passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable transportation solutions. We also value:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.
• At least 10 years of experience in transportation engineering, including metro/railway, high-speed rail, highways, and roads.
• Proven experience in the design and delivery of small and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to write clear and concise reports.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD applications (AutoCAD/Microstation/AutoCAD Civil3D/OpenRail/OpenRoads/Rail Track SS2&SS4).
