Senior Research Analyst with: Russian or Turkish

We are currently looking for a Senior Research Analyst. The position is located in our Gdynia office, and it requires your presence in the office at least 3 times a week.

Our business is to know what our clients need to know. We provide our customers with research and business insights that enable them to handle reputational and legal risks, and to make conscious business decisions. Based on our reports, they decide on whether to do business with another company or whether to hire someone for an executive position. They can also make sure if they and their business partners are aligned with the regulations, they are subject to.

SOME OF THE DAILY TASKS:

  • Conducting Enhanced Due Diligence, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering tasks and reports. This includes:
  • Conduction of media and internet searches on legal entities and individuals in English and local European language (one of the following: Russian or Turkish).
  • Investigation and research of official sources (registrars, regulators, courts, etc.) for information on legal entities and individuals.
  • Cooperation with external vendors (verification of provided information, embedding provided information in the risk analysis).
  • Analysis of collected information with a view to reputational, financial and integrity risk (sanctions, corruption, bribery, money laundering, terrorism financing, regulatory violations, etc.).
  • Preparation of the comprehensive reports in English and/or local language.
  • Participation in transformational projects which aim to optimize and improve product offering, operational processes, technology as well as and research methodology.
  • Support in providing learning sessions for other team members.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in another language/-s (Russian or Turkish)
  • University degree preferably in international relations, political science, legal studies or business management
  • 2-4 years of experience in EDD, KYC and AML field along with the knowledge of KYC & AML procedures and regulations
  • ACAMS and/or ICA would be a great advantage
  • Excellent written and analytical skills including the ability to summarise sophisticated information clearly and concisely from another language into English
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including online search tools
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of, and interest in international affairs
  • Relevant experience in Financial Markets
  • Time Management skills
