WHAT TO EXPECT

Working full-time from our Gaziemir Plant, as Senior Tax Accountant you will responsible for managing all tax matters for our Turkish entities, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, and supporting business strategies.

• You will report to Chief Accountant.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing corporate tax computations, preparing all tax declarations all under local GAAP and ensuring accurate reporting for US GAAP, including quarterly tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
• Coordinating with local tax auditors, external parties, and liaising with global and regional teams to provide timely and effective responses to queries.
• Recommending legal tax-saving strategies to ensuring tax efficiency, assist with transfer pricing reports and filings, and advise on new tax laws and corporate strategies.
• Following up the capacity reports and industrial registration process for all entities.
• Assisting the monthly and yearly closing processes.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 6 years experience as a Tax Accountant or in the audit firms with Tax background
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting or IFRS
• Preferably experience with SOX compliance
• Knowledge of best practices in internal controls
• Good command of English.
