Job Description
The Sr. Delivery Lead is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who will be responsible for leading and driving the successful delivery of software projects and programs from conception to post-launch support. This role requires a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methodologies, Agile principles, and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to scope, ensuring smooth go-live deployments, hypercare support, and a seamless transition to ongoing support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead and manage cross-functional teams of software developers, testers, and other IT professionals:
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Delegate tasks and assignments based on individual strengths and skills.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members.
- Address performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets:
- Define clear project goals and objectives.
- Break down projects into manageable tasks and milestones.
- Estimate resources and time required for each task.
- Track project progress against the plan and make adjustments as needed.
- Manage project scope and ensure that all deliverables are met:
- Proactively identify and manage project risks.
- Implement change control procedures to manage scope creep.
- Ensure that all deliverables are met to the required quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project sponsors, executives, and customers:
- Provide regular status updates on project progress.
- Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations.
- Proactively communicate potential risks and issues.
- Manage project boards and tools:
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) to track progress and visualize workflow.
- Keep boards updated with relevant information and tasks.
- Utilize boards for team collaboration and communication.
- Assign work and get status updates:
- Clearly communicate task expectations and deadlines to team members.
- Conduct regular meetings and check-ins to track individual progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members.
- Remove obstacles and facilitate problem-solving:
- Identify and proactively address roadblocks and impediments to progress.
- Escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
- Facilitate collaborative problem-solving within the team.
- Plan and execute go-live deployments:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive go-live deployment plan.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities.
- Manage the deployment process to ensure a smooth and successful transition to production.
- Provide hypercare support during initial post-launch phase:
- Proactively monitor system performance and identify any potential issues.
- Address user feedback and resolve any reported problems promptly
- Ensure the system is operating stably and meeting user needs.
- Facilitate a smooth transition to ongoing support:
- Work with the support team to document system functionality and troubleshooting procedures.
- Train support staff on how to handle common user issues.
- Ensure a seamless handover of responsibility for ongoing system support.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest software development trends and technologies:
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Share knowledge and insights with the team.
- Mentor and coach team members:
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members.
- Help team members develop their skills and knowledge.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology or similar
- Experience and/or Training At least 5 years of project management experience; Knowledge of Project Management Lifecycle and software development methodologies
- Experience and/or Training: Patient services – HUB / Specialty pharmacy experience in a client facing role is strongly preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience and/or Training: Patient services – HUB / Specialty pharmacy experience in a client facing role is preferred
- Licenses/Certificates PMP Certification OR Scrum master certification is preferred
- Technology/Equipment Prior experience working with CRM applications such as Microsoft dynamics 365, Salesforce is preferred

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $121,000 to $130,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
