Strategic Analyst & Product Manager

As a Strategic Analysis & Product Manager at AstraZeneca, you will play a crucial role in driving our commercial success by developing and implementing marketing strategies that ensure sustainable, profitable, and competitive positioning of our brands. You will define high standards for individual and departmental performance, review business processes, and suggest improvements to achieve our business targets. Effective communication with cross-functional units and taking initiative in performance management will be key to your success.

Accountabilities

• Lead analytical processes in major financial planning cycles & strategic planning cycles
• Develop forecasting tools, populate with internal and external data, and update regularly
• Design and track top-level marketing performance metrics and design automated actionable reports
• Formulate and execute market research plans
• Develop and implement brand plans
• Proactively create alternative strategies for regulatory or market changes
• Lead and coordinate the Brand Team to ensure effective decision-making and plan implementation
• Establish strategic communication and relationships with sales teams and advisory boards
• Maintain effective communication with global brand teams/marketing groups
• Define and implement communication strategies for target customer portfolios

Essential Skills/Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in strategic analytics & reporting with track record of supporting business leadership in strategic decision-making
• Marketing experience in the pharma sector will be an asset
• University degree from a reputable university
• Advanced command of written and spoken English
• No restriction to travel frequently and must have a valid driving license
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Sales Forecasting & Financial Acumen
• Budget Management
