System And Application Expert

What you’ll do

  • Responsibility for solving Incident and Request which includes Windows OS system structures
  • Work with vendors to implement new service platforms
  • Simplify existing platforms architecture and remove legacy platforms by creating new design and migration procedures.
  • Managing partner ecosystem to deliver datacentre/application migration or management process.
  • Having responsibility to maintain inventory of all managed software and hardware properly.
  • Responsible for design, configuration for the Windows infrastructure and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Designing, planning, executing technology refresh & consolidation tasks and supporting a mixed environment of Windows system
  • Performs troubleshooting, incident and error handling for systems
  • Implementing change management processes and user requests on systems
  • Evaluation of new versions, patches, firmwares and security patches. Implementing upgrades and security patches regularly.
  • Implementing security policies on servers according to the best practices and company procedures.
  • Periodic monitoring of systems, performance tuning and capacity planning and trend analysis
  • Maintain operational readiness ensuring complete recovery in the event of a disaster. Attend DR tests regularly, as outlined in the company policies and procedures to ensure DR functionality, update the policies and procedures as required.
  • Communicate with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
  • Executing and tracking common operations related an operating system like Program execution, I/O operations, File System manipulation, Communication, Error Detection, resource Allocation, Protection
  • Improve, manage, maintain and troubleshoot roles ve services running on an operating system like DC, IIS, Fireserver, Connection Brocker, DHCP, Exchange, DNS etc.

Who you are

  • University Degree with Electronic, Computer, Telecommunication or Mathematics Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of Windows Server management
  • Experience of services and roles of Windows Server like DC, IIS, Fileserver, DHCP, Exchange, DNS etc.
  • Experience working in a large, enterprise environment with 50+ of servers
  • Must have excellent working experience with problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis
  • Must have excellent working experience administering Windows Server Operating System
  • Must have good knowledge of Powershell
  • Must have good knowledge of Python
  • Must have good knowledge of SCOM and SCCM.
  • Must have good knowledge of Virtualization, Storage, SAN, Network
  • Knowledge Server-Storage-Backup Units hardware systems
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies IaaS – SaaS – PaaS – Multi Cloud – Hybrid Cloud
  • Very good command of English
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements
  • Should be a good team player and should be able perform well under stress
  • Expected to have licenses or certifications of Microsoft like MCSE, MCSA, MSCE etc
