Essential Job Functions:

  • Install, configure, harden, and patch Windows servers including DC’s and database servers
  • Install, configure, and patch local hypervisors including VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV
  • Install, manage, patch, and upgrade SQL Servers and other database servers
  • Install, configure, and patch Storage devices of all types
  • Configure and manage Azure cloud solutions
  • Install, upgrade and patch Citrix servers
  • Configure and administer M365/O365 solutions, including email, SharePoint, security etc.
  • Configure and administer (EDR) Endpoint, Detection, and Response solutions
  • Configure AD, AAD, Group Policies and Intune
  • Load, configure, and manage immutable data backup solutions (HYCU, Veeam, and datto)
  • Configure and manage WSUS
  • Administer and manage the tools used by IT to automate IT functions such as Manage Engine
  • Administer email filtering tools such as Mimecast and Proofpoint
  • Manage, document, and test the DR process
  • Security focused experience
  • Conforms to regulatory compliance related to electronic information in areas such as HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations
  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality
  • Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with the following: hands on system administration, Microsoft servers (Windows and SQL), hypervisors like VMware and Hyper-V and Azure
  • Microsoft and Hypervisor certifications are highly preferred
  • Demonstrates the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer
  • Strong attention to detail, effective time managements skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

  • The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required).
  • The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours.
  • The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks
  • Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
  • The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use. Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
  • Must be able to operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and/or push/pull 20 pounds on a regular or occasional basis
