Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with expertise in Solution Architecture to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, combined with extensive knowledge of architecture principles and methodologies. This role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and delivery of complex technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and cost.
  • Define solution architectures, including system designs, infrastructure requirements, and integration strategies, in alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to technical teams, ensuring that architecture designs are implemented effectively and meet quality standards.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and dependencies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Monitor project performance and metrics, preparing regular status reports and updates for project sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, refining project management processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in technical project management, with a focus on solution architecture and system design.
  • Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and best practices in solution architecture.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern technology stacks.
  • PMP, Prince2, or other project management certifications are a plus.
