Technology Centers&Energy Systems Services Management

What you’ll do

  • Keep Region 2 Technology Center up and running 7/24 basis
  • Ensure the 7/24 continuity of Region 2 Technology Center operations
  • Conclude internal and external customer requests in a timely and complete manner within the framework of roles and responsibilities
  • Operate Region 2 Technology Centers in an energy efficient and sustainable manner
  • To apply Technical Infrastructure Maintenance and Operations Processes and defined actions via operation maintenance Subcontractor according to SLA KPIs. (L2 level operation)
  • To apply layout allocations for Network/IT Equipment at Region 2 Technology Centers
  • To make a periodical system checks and test of all infrastructure equipment, support independent audits
  • To fulfil commissioning and integration of new energy systems and cooling equipment.
  • To update & report electrical infrastructure layouts and drawings of Region 2 Technology Centers
  • To warn and inform planning team in case of any capacity shortage and performance degradation at infrastructure equipment in details
  • To follow up daily status of all infrastructure equipment in relation with Telecom and IT equipment
  • To prepare weekly progress reports, energy equipment reports.
  • To assure the quality of installation and works to be as required in the specifications and to be completed on schedule at Technology Center, 
  • To operate Technology Center environment without service outage
  • To communicate closely and frequently with Internal/External Customer periodically at his/her Technology Center
  • To monitor all alarms from infrastructure systems (7/24 basis)
  • To take all essential preventive actions before fault occurrence
  • To apply immediate corrective action in order to restore the system
  • To supervise trouble shooting to be done by related vendor via MSP
  • To report weekly performance of each system
  • To present technical introduction of Technology Centres (English/Turkish)
  • To provide technical data to tender documents
  • To support and organize Customer activities after sales
  • To supervise/accompany potential customer visits (English/Turkish)
  • To ensure to work safely and in good health, and provide a safe place of work,
  • To work in compliance with health & safety rules and policies, and to identify risks related to the works/job
  • To prevent/stop any unsafe works or acts
  • To report all accidents and occupational health problems of own, staff, team members or contractors, to HSE&W department
  • To attend and make sure staff attends to the relevant health & safety trainings provided by Vodafone HSE&W department
  • Responsible for noting and reporting any deviations from the VTAS’s security policy and report all suspected security and/or policy breaches to VTAS FRS Management
  • To support the other Technology Centres for the above items if necessary

Who you are

  • Preferably Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
  • Good Knowledge and experience on Energy infrastructure and power systems (Transformer, Generator sets, HV cubicles, busbars&cables), fire detection and extinguishing systems, high capacity Air Conditioners systems, cabling and layout planning of Technology Center
  • Customer oriented, result oriented, emphatic, good relationship with customers, customer satisfaction oriented
  • Team work, innovative, adaptable, Flexible working (night-weekends)
  • Min 10 years similar experience
  • Very Good English (at least Upper intermediate level)
  • Mainly GSM/IT environment experience
  • Experience at Telecom Operator or Mission Critical building
