The Trade Analyst will make an impact by –

• Responsible for all trade promotion support which includes Trade Promotion Management system planning, communication, tracking and analysis of trade promotion activity and spending.
• Serve as the company expert of the Trade Promotion Management system (Exceedra) with responsibility for updates and improvements to the system and ensuring data integrity.
• Proactively monitor, analyze, and report customer trade promotion forecasts and spend rates to budget.
• Review monthly customer trade forecast accuracy with Field Sales, Customer Development and Finance
• Develop metrics, dashboards and scorecards for management that communicate key trade promotion information and performance-based metrics to enable detailed understanding of trade spending and total customer investment.
• Develop and enter trade program activity and forecasts within our trade promotion system for both base and incremental promotional volumes.
• Own the input and maintenance of promotional details of all trade spend within the planning system.
• Build and update both standard and ad hoc reports to support trade & promotion management across internal, external and management teams.
• Interpret internal, customer provide and syndicated data (IRI, Spins, Shipment) to create a consensus volume forecast at the customer level.
• Ensure invoices reflect accurate trade spend against correct TPM programs.
• Assist with timely invoice payments by working with customer AP teams, brokers and sales teams to gather correct information.
• Inform team on market activity adjustments that will affect promotional shipments.
• Recommend future program changes to align with corporate strategy.
• Provide ad hoc analytical expertise for Sales, Marketing and Finance for decision support specific to trade promotional activities.
• Perform all duties in compliance with all corporate and regulatory quality, GLP, and safety regulations.
• Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations.
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
• Demonstrates the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
• Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
• Minimum of (3) years of related sales, customer and trade marketing experience
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communicator, written and verbal
• Ability to plan, organize and carry-out multiple tasks and projects
• Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office suite
• Advanced Excel knowledge
