Transport Specialist

About this Position

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring transportation performance through KPI dashboards and driving productivity projects. You will work closely with warehouse teams to improve transportation processes and oversee outbound deliveries and returns. Additionally, you will support logistics purchasing in negotiations and optimize the distribution network for cost efficiency and customer service excellence. 

What you´ll do

  • Control Transportation service provider’s performance by preparing daily, weekly and monthly logistics KPI dashboard
  • Assuming responsibility for driving, monitoring and reporting of the productivity projects with CI approach
  • Working proactively with warehouse team and site operations leaders to improve, review and implement standard transportation processes and procedures
  • Monitor outbound delivery and return operation to/from customers and other plants
  • Support logistic purchasing on negotiation and contract setting withy service providers
  • Developing and optimizing distribution network to ensure Henkel Turkey’s route to-market is cost effective and catalysis customer service excellence
  • Ensuring logistic execution drives customer service excellence, within the corporate policies and guidelines
  • Supervising the team in terms of transportation plannings via specific tools.

What makes you a good fit

  • BSc/BA in relevant areas
  • Minimum 4 years of logistics experience in transporation area especially in a multinational company
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Advanced user of MS Office applications
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
