Job Description

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

• Move and load turkeys in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate controls to run the loader
• Work properly to ensure animal welfare and safety
• Set up loader in turkey barns
• Hook and un-hook loader from crew cab
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Live Poultry experience preferable
• Must be able to work in animal production conditions
• Must be capable of bending, pushing, stooping and lifting up to 50 pound live turkeys for the duration of the work shift
• Must be able to work days or nights with fluctuating starting times, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift with ability to sit in vehicle for extended periods of time
• Must adhere to Bio Security and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Cannot own/have birds where resides
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
