Program Summary

KBR will sustain the operational well-being of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base (Spain), Incirlik Air Base, Izmir Air Station, and various facilities in Turkey. Our services encompass program management, civil engineering, morale and recreation support, postal operations, safety services, logistics, and more. With a five-year base period and three one-year options, KBR ensures these bases operate smoothly, allowing deployed personnel to focus on mission execution.

Job Summary

As a Vehicle Fleet Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of Vehicle Management processes while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards. You will act as the primary technical advisor and point of contact for all Fleet Management and Analysis (FM&A) matters, attending relevant meetings and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining government motor vehicles (GMV) and equipment in accordance with all applicable guidelines. From vehicle acquisition and disposition, to inspection scheduling and reporting fleet readiness, you will oversee multiple aspects of the operation. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reported metrics, and compliance with Air Force and Performance Work Standards (PWS) will be crucial.

You will be responsible for controlling and managing all requirements within the Fleet Management & Analysis and Vehicle Control Programs. Additionally, you will promote safety and quality awareness within the department, fostering a collaborative team environment. You will also lead comprehensive training programs to ensure employees are proficient in using DPAS and other related software platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage Fleet Management & Analysis function IAW AFI 24–302, and T.O. 36-1-191, and all publications within.

Review and validate all new and assigned vehicle data plate information at least annually to determine nuclear certification status IAW AFI63-125 USAFE Supplement, AFI 63-125 and AFI 91-103 AFI-24-302.

Vehicle Fleet Manager (VFM) will read, familiarize, and adhere to the specific duties and responsibilities outlined in AFI 24-302.

Account for and maintain resisted vehicles using Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) IAW AFI 24-302, Basing & Logistics Analytics Data Environment (BLADE),

Capture/input Fleet Management Information System data from outlying work centers and Geographically Separated Units assigned to the same host wing installation that do not have indigenous Fleet Management & Analysis personnel.

Manage vehicle parts and Material Control functions IAW AFI 24-302 and VM Guidebook Chapter 5 and AFCSM 91-203.

Develop a Scheduled Maintenance Plan to forecast required vehicle inspections.

Perform safety inspections on all assigned vehicles annually.

Revalidate and approve the scheduled maintenance plan annually.

Ensure all vehicles accounts are inventoried and signed annually.

Basic Qualifications

US citizen

US Passport, valid or ability to obtain.

Valid drivers license.

5 years’ experience in Vehicle Management.

2-5 years in Fleet Management.

  • NAC-I Clearance

Possess or have the ability to obtain, a driver’s license IAW Host Nation laws, applicable AFI’s, or SOFA requirements.

Ability to acquire and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and gain access to the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).

Proficiency in using computers and related software such as Microsoft Office and other common office products.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience/certification as a Vehicle Fleet Manager.

10 years’ experience in Vehicle Maintenance.

5 years’ experience in Fleet Management.
