Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia but we engage our Contractors and Freelancers all over the world to help us meet our crazy big goals. As a Contractor Canva you can work remotely in the country listed on this job ad, meaning you have ultimate flexibility. Wherever works for you, works for us.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that’s all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you’ll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

• Enhance and retouch video footage to achieve desired visual aesthetics
• Perform colour correction and grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual quality
• Work on the short videos library, each video has a length 5-9 seconds
• Work to high-quality result standards and follow requirements
• Review and critique video edits to ensure the highest quality output
• Communicating with the Canva Czech Republic Media & Retouching team

You’re probably a match if

• You speak English or Czech language
• You have 5+ years of expertise with video post production and proficiency in video editing software such as After Effects/ Premiere Pro/ DaVinci Resolve or similar tools
• You have strong technical skills and a strong eye for detail in order to catch imperfections
• You have strong communication abilities and excitement to share and refine ideas collaboratively
• You have the ability to accept feedback and open to reworking if the requirements are not met
• You demonstrate diligence in meeting deadlines with a great sense of time management
• You stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in video editing technology and techniques.

About the team

Ever thought about transforming good videos into exceptional video mock-ups? Join our Processing team! You’ll be a key player in our Media & Retouching team, helping to expand our library of video mock-ups. We can’t wait to see the magic you’ll create!

This is a six-month contract that offers part-time hours, approximately 80 hours a month.
