VRF Sales Engineer, İstanbul

What You Will Do

Johnson Controls Hitachi is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient VRF Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Istanbul. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving direct channel sales across the Marmara region. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an emergent team focused on expanding our market presence and achieving ambitious growth targets.

  • Utilize your in-depth technical knowledge of VRF systems to sell and service customers within assigned channel accounts, driving product revenue and achieving sales goals.
  • Engage in face-to-face networking with key stakeholders such as mechanical contractors, general contractors, and engineering consultants to establish and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of the local marketplace and collaborate with technical experts and sales support teams for market development activities.
  • Manage the sales process from converting inquiries into sales, following up on quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment.
  • Utilize strong planning, organization, and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities.

How You Will Do It

  • Utilize your strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to drive sales and meet objectives.
  • Adopt a customer-oriented approach to work, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to engage with customers and internal teams.
  • Utilize your financial understanding to drive product revenue and margin results.
  • Fluent in English to communicate effectively with both local and international stakeholders.
  • Actively hold a B class driver’s license to travel as required.

What We Look For

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in sales, design, or field roles within VRF, DX Products in HVAC, and/or pumps.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good financial understanding.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Active B class driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred

  • Comprehensive technical and operational knowledge of the HVAC industry is an asset.
